In the headquarters of the Northwest mounted police Sergeant Preston stood listening to his superior officer, Inspector Maynard. The older man frowned as he spoke of Mannie Reynolds a leader of an organized gang who terrorises prospectors and trappers and is wanted for murder and who must be stopped.
