Everything is happy at the Jot 'em Down store and library again. Lum and Abner are rid of their financial worries and threats of imprisonment, and their foundling baby has been identified as the Finley's child, and is home safe and sound with his parents. The only unhappy person in town is Squire Skimp, whose elaborate scheme to get the old fellows store boomeranged and left him with a $500 damage bill to pay!
