Two days ago he made arrangements for his own assassination as he was bankrupt and in danger of going to prison. He had a family and two children and an insurance policy and figured that if he were to be killed his family would be taken care of. He knew that in thirty days he would be going to prison as he had embezzled money from his firm so he decided to do away with himself leaving instructions for his wife to replace the stolen funds. He knew that suicide would revoke the insurance policy so he went to the only underworld character he knew, Gimpy, and asked him to hire a professional assassin. Now his situation had changed and he no longer wanted to be killed but going to Gimpy to call off the assassin was not an option as the newspapers reported that Gimpy had himself been murdered yesterday. Now he wanted Richard Diamond to find out whom Gimpy had hired and call it off.
