Among the American Indian tribes, none claims more tenacity to the old ways than the Navajo. Herding their sheep across the vast plains of northern Arizona, New Mexico they live today much as they have for a hundred years and perhaps this is for the best for the white man's world has never been too gentle with the Navajo. This story is about an American Indian, mentally unbalanced from war combat, who goes out on his last lessons.
