Among the American indian tribe none claims more tenacity to the old ways than the Navajo. Herding their sheep across the vast plains of northern Arizona, New Mexico they live today much as they have for a hundred years and perhaps this is for the best for the white man's world has never been too gentle with the Navajo. This story is about such a one, a Navajo who the white man taught to kill and then punish because he could not forget his lesson.
