Reading The Will

After a great deal of trouble the Bickersons arrive safe, but not too sound at the palatial home of Mrs. Bickerson's dear departed Uncle Fermon. After the reading of the will Blanch Bickerson approaches Mr. Kramer, the lawyer, to find out why she has not been left anything. She is worried that John will not be happy when he finds she has no inheritance.
