This is a moving and inspiring story - way ahead of its time - dealing with topics that you would expect in a movie taking place in the 1960s rather than one taking place immediately following World War I. The story begins will well-to-do Larry Darrell, who breaks off his engagement to Isabel and travels the world seeking enlightenment. Isabel goes on to marry another, and then following the crash of 1929, is invited to live in Paris with her rich, social climbing, Uncle. She is reunited with Larry there, who has attained his goal of enlightenment. Will she succeed in reigniting his interest in her?
