This is the story of a great romance, and the magnificent adventure of a commoner who played king. The story begins by a lonely mountain stream. Nailed to an old oak is a placard which reads "Province of Zenda - Fishing Preserve - Trespassing Forbidden - By Order Of His Majesty The King". Just below the sign, stretched out full length on the grassy bank, is a young Englishman. His head is pillowed on a fishing creel and his rod lies unheeded by his side…
