Johnny Dollar receives a call from Brad Taylor of Mid States Industrial insurance company. He needs help with a three week old case, the Kansas City payroll stickup by Jipper Nixon and his gang. There had been an APB out on Nixon wanted for questioning since disappearing the day after the stick up. Nixon and his gang were spotted in Phoenix Arizona where the state police put up roadblocks but the gang shot their way through killing a state trooper making them 3 time killers. Taylor wanted Dollar to catch them and the $100,000, which Mid States Industrial was insuring.
