A priceless original oil painting has been stolen from the home of Vincent Price, famous radio and picture star. One of the few people who would have the opportunity was the man who had sold him the insurance on it, Bert Parker, so Johnny headed to Parker's office at State Mutual in downtown Los Angeles, and then his apartment, to discover the man had hurriedly packed and left the country - for Paris, France!
