The Fresnic Museum is not one of the worlds great art collections but it is surely one of the most eclectic by which is meant the rich man who left it and his house to the city was extremely choosy about what he liked or disliked. It contains a wide-ranging pot pourri of special and disparate gems from a Rubens to a Paul Clay, from ancient Byzantine through the most literal of English 19th century paintings. And most important to us the only museum in the world to which hangs a W.H. Hasco and thereby hangs our taleā€¦
