Pete has been coming in to town once a month for many years now. He looks a bit different and never speaks and often gets tormented by some people. Chester is out fishing with young boy Bill and tells him a tall tale that Pete doesn’t sleep anymore as he just sits up all night guarding his treasure. When the boy goes missing they fear that he might have gone to see Pete’s treasure and that Pete may harm him. When they arrive at Pete’s they find the boy hurt and also discover why Pete doesn’t talk.
