Mr. Costello has been burgled and Johnny has been tasked with investigating it for Eastern Seaboard Casualty Insurance Company, but when he arrives it appears that the burglary has been solved, the criminal has been apprehended and the money has been returned. However, before Johnny has a chance to leave town he stumbles across a man and women arguing and ends up in a fight. He tells the man to beat it and takes the woman for a drink. Whilst comforting her he makes a discovery.
