Lum's attitude towards Professor M Sloan and his proposed observatory changed completely when he found out that the Professor was planning to name it the Edwards Memorial observatory, in honor of the President of the Pine Ridge school board. The two astronomers spent last evening making plans for a trip up to old Piney mountain, the proposed site of the new observatory. As we look in on the little community today, we find Abner in the store and library, helping Lum to prepare for his trip.
