Chain letter craze has finally hit Pine Ridge and Lum and Abner have decided to go one better by releasing what they call the farm relief chain. Instead of sending money everybody who receives one of their letters is supposed to send a hog. The old fellers have figured out that they will receive over 15000 hogs and as we look in on Pine Ridge today we find them at the Jot ‘em Down store getting ready to receive them….
