J Ransom Wendell is an important client with among other insurance has half a million cover on his life. Now he wants to see Johnny Dollar about his current wife, show girl dancer Lavonne. Wendell has a habit of marrying dollar digger dance girls but this time he is afraid for his wife and the fear that she has that she is going to be murdered. Wendell wants Johnny Dollar to pose as an old friend and try to find out why Lavonne is so anxious.
