Petticoat Fever

Broadcast: 25th April 1944
Added: Feb 28 2006

Petticoat Fever is the hilarious comedy adapted by Jean Holloway for radio from a play by Mark Reed.

It takes two parties to make a romance and in the case of Petticoat Fever the party of the first part was named Ethel Campian and the party of the second part was named Daskum Dinsmore and they met on coast of Labrador. Daskum operated a wireless station up on those cold lonely regions and he hadn’t seen a woman for five months until Ethel walked out of a plane accident in to his house.
