Badly injured in an automobile accident while they were on their way to be married, Penny Gibbs and Barry Carlton are both in Haverton hospital. Barry is still unconscious, and doctors fear he will die. Penny, whose condition is a little less serious than Barry's, has gained consciousness and is being visited by her mother, Grace.
