The party keeps a file on all US veterans of Russian origin and when one dies without heirs and legatees the party digs up an heir from somewhere behind the iron curtain. Matt Cvetic was to pose as a solicitor with power of attorney to collect the $12000 estate of a recently deceased veteran, Joseph Lazeroff on behalf of his “fictitious” grandmother in Russia.
