Celebrated stage and motion picture star Charles Laughton recreates his original London and New York stage role William Marble in this suspenseful drama Payment Deferred. Starring with him is his real life wife Elsa Lanchester who in the stage play originally played his daughter Winnie Marble. In this Theater Guild On Air rendition of Payment Deferred she plays his wife Annie Marble so she still remains in the family!
