The Mystery Playhouse has requested the return engagement of those two love birds of crime, Mr & Mrs North. Jerry is out of town on business, and he's asked Pam to try and avoid stumbling across any murders whilst he's away. Complying with his wishes, Pam has just settled down with a book to read, but then the doorbell rings... It seems Pam is needed to help solve a case at Mr Fox's gambling club.... Mr Lawson has lost lots of money at Mr Fox's gambling club and almost shoots Mr Crane.
