In the summer months of 1954, a series of robberies of unusual daring took place on the waterfront of one of our large eastern cities. Due to the international nature of the cargo's involved, the FBI was asked to cooperate with harbour police in attempting to solve these crimes. When agents began the investigation, they found the robberies were accomplished by various means of impersonation of federal officers, and that the criminals knew the exact location of the contraband cargo.
