The notoriety of the wild west was at its height from 1870 to 1880, which is where our story begins innocently enough. Somewhere in Wyoming territory, a solitary wagon drawn by one sturdy work horse heads down a mountain trail toward a distant and sparse settlement. Behind the wagon, a cow pony hooked to the tailgate follows along. This is a bandwagon, a travelling general store on wheels - and a very welcome sight to anyone living in the wild west!
