Chester gets a black eye when he tries to stop a fight right outside the Dodge Hotel when some tough young guys pick on old Charlie because he is boasting about how to draw a gun but no one wants to listen to an old man. Charlie doesn’t wear a gun and tells tales to anyone who will listen about old gunfighter Rio Joe and when Matt sees Charlie’s old guns he believes he may have been a gunfighter himself and worries that he will try to defend himself against a bully named Rast.

After 23 minutes the story is interrupted with an important news announcement.
