Of Stars and States is a one hour program designed to bring to America the stories and song and the drama of the states, dedicated to each and every one of the States of  America. It is told, sung and enacted by great Hollywood stars who pay tribute to the states from whence they came. The series was intended to bring each state to all the United States. This audition program showcases all that is good about Texas and features the Governor of Texas in 1940 W. Lee O'Daniel.
