The story starts in a court of law where a man is on trial for his life. The courtroom is tense, but the jury is out, deciding a man's fate. But the prisoner himself, a tall man with glossy black hair and piercing eyes sits calmly with his lawyer and his daughter, Nora, and his son-in-law, Harry Wilson waiting for the fateful verdict.
