The Nightmare Murder Case began when Sam Davis was murdered after Mrs Grace Rawls had a dream in which she was told she was going to kill Davis. She has identified the man in her dreams from a rogues gallery photograph but that doesn’t help Vance at all because that man was found dead too. All they know is that Mrs. Rawls doesn’t have any recollection of killing Davis and that Davis had an enemy in Eddie Lee a big time gambler.
