The Columbia Workshop attempts an experiment in realism - an effort to recreate in sound alone, the mood and action which transpires during a single half hour of a policeman's night patrol. A typical New York Irish cop captures a killer while thinking about his sick son at home. There's no music on the program, it is replaced by footsteps, which is eerie!
