As we join the Burns’ today we find them in a downtown department store taking advantage of the February clearance sale. Gracie tells George clearance sales are a wonderful place to save money and she gives him a list of the little odds and ends she needs – including a mink coat right between floor rags and potato masher. Gracie thought if she buried the mink coat in the middle of the list George might buy it before he realized!
