Nelson Walker, a drifter who has never settled into any occupation had his life changed by fate. He was on his way to the airport to catch a flight to Honolulu for a job when a 2-minute delay at a railway crossing meant he missed his flight. But fate intervened and he was able to reschedule on flight 21.
