Richard is in high spirits and has gone round to his girlfriends, Helen Asher. He has a letter from the lady in the apartment opposite, Mrs. Louise Cartwright who is pleased with his beautiful singing. She’s not his only admirer it seems that the residents of the block are all impressed with Richard’s piano playing and singing - well most of them anyway.
