Our story begins on a pier in Los Angeles, California, where passengers and their belongings are being checked before boarding the ship. A woman presents herself, passport, and bag to be inspected, but her trunk which she bought in Shanghai, China, looks unusual and so she is pulled in to customs to be searched, where they find over $100,000 of narcotics.
