Mystery of Carl Kleist, The

Broadcast: April 30th 1950

Down the street the "Bon Voyage" tourist agency's burglar alarm was sounding and unusually for Cairo it seemed to actually be attracting attention. Willy Kleist lay knifed on the ground and with his dying breath gasped the cryptic message for his brother... "Tell Carl they have come." It seems that 'they' have a name too and the name is an equally mysterious 'Zell."

After recounting the story to Captain Sabaaya of the Cairo police Jordan meets an Austrian woman Ilsa who just coincidentally had been engaged to Carl way back when, and so the plot thickens. The plot then proceeds to get taller, heavier and a whole lot more painful too when Rocky picks a fight with a mountain in a linen suit who (like so many big men in downtown Cairo) prefers to let his fists do the talking.

With dire warnings from the police, thugs punching him in the face and shots fired at point blank any man would be forgiven for walking away but with the word 'ZELL' now staring him in the face and it's meaning within reach, wild horses couldn't drag Rocky Jordan away from this mystery.
