Screen Guild Theater the motion pictures star’s own program, sponsored by Gulf Oil and introduced as the Gulf Screen Guild Theater presents My Favorite Wife, the mad story of a honeymoon for three people starring Irene Dunne in her original 1940 screen role.

The money that Gulf Oil Company paid the stars for appearing on these programmes was turned over to the Motion Picture Relief Fund.
