My Bill follows the fortunes of a gallant woman, a symbol of all those gallant women who face the world alone and found happiness for themselves and their children. It is a story about Mary Colbrook who through her courage and devotion finds herself fighting the whole world with only one ally, her ten-year-old son named Bill. The strongest bond in the world is the tie between a mother and her son.
