Vicky and Gill Hallister were plotting to kill his stepmother to prevent her from spending anymore of his inheritance. It was all driven by Vicky but executed by Gill. However after three failed attempts, and a little releif on Gill's part, his stepmother Belle hires a man named Ralph Foster whom she has met through her community help group to be her driver and bodyguard and Gill worries that Belle may suspect their intentions to kill her.
