Tonight's story takes place shortly after the close of the second world war. It opens in the office of Robert Lawson, candidate for Governor. Across the desk from Lawson sits Jasper Jane, known throughout the state as 'The Boss', corrupt dictator of the most corrupt political machine in the States history. He wants Robert to run for Governor, but allow Lawson the final decision on any new policies...
