Peter Swift is found guilty of wilful and deliberate murder. In his final words before sentence is passed he vows to get the judge, the district attorney and the foreman of in his words the “crooked jury that railroaded him”. The judge then orders him to be executed and Peter Swift swears that he will get all three and if he can’t get them living he will get them when he is dead…
