In his early youth, Mark Fisher, foster son of indulgent old Dave Clay, was as wild and mean a young maverick as the western town of Silver Horn ever saw. Then, old Dave took Mark into the bank to work and the young man seemed to have put his wild ways behind him. But the town was due for a rude awakening. As our story opens, Mark Fisher is riding up into the hills to a secluded cabin.
