Cary Grant reprises his 1943 RKO Pictures film role as Joe Adams - Mr Lucky. In order to avoid the draft, Joe Adams takes on the identity of a dead gangster. He dreams up a plan to swindle money from a war relief charity program, to get his gambling operation up and running, but starts to have second thoughts when he falls in love with Dorothy Bryant who works for the charity.

At the end of the show you will hear from screen director Hank Potter.
