Money For The Kids

Broadcast: November 29, 1949
Added: Nov 28 2023

Luigi is collecting money for the children’s recreation center and has collected $25 from the people in his area but he can’t get a single cent from Pasquale unless it was for his own grandchildren. Luigi reminds him he doesn’t have any grandchildren and Pasquale retorts, “who’s faults that?”

Pasquale tells Luigi that no one has ever shown him any kindness and that he has had to work hard to get where he is. He declares that if anybody was to show him one kindness, any little thing he would give Luigi as much money as he has already collected, $25 but until then he isn’t giving one last dime.

Tenor singer Mario Lanza makes a guest appearance and sings Mama Mia.

Gracie Allen appears at the end of the show to ask Bob Stevenson if George can sing on the show!
