When Miss Lizzie, known as a determined maiden lady with no desires of getting married, arrives home and checks her house as usual she is surprised to find a man hiding under her bed! She calls doctor Christian who cannot believe that she let the man go without calling the police, but she didn't let him go, his arrival is the most exciting thing that has happened to her and she wants Doctor Christian to check him over as he is sick. After a few days of being looked after by Miss Lizzie the man who has no designs on ever marrying any woman is afraid that Miss Lizzie has set her mind on marrying him.
