Miracle on 34th Street is a delightful uplifting story for the Christmas season. It has comedy, romance and all the spirit and joy of the season. Edmund Gwenn stars in his original 1947 Twentieth Century Fox movie role as Chris Kringle, the real Santa Claus who gets a job in Macys department store. However the store's doctor decides Kris Kringle is insane and he ends up in court with his lawyer, Fred Gailey who is determined to prove that Kris Kringle is Santa Claus and does so with the help of Susan a little girl who wrote a letter to Santa.
