Olga is an aspiring actress, encouraged by her burned-out publicist, Bill, to reach out for her goals. She manages to get a movie role, but tragedy strikes and she dies before the movie is completed. Granting her final request, Bill brings her body back to her Pennsylvania home town, and asks all the local churches to ring their bells for three days.
