Josaphina Ramirez was rescued by Kitty from two rough brutes trying to force her to kiss them. Josaphina and her father Miguel had taken over a rundown place out of town and Kitty asked Matt if he would escort her back home as she was pretty shuck up. Josaphina doesn’t want them to escort her all the way home and as they approach Matt and Chester are shot at by her father Miguel. Miguel is fearful that the men in the West do not treat mexican girls with respect and they have already moved four times to find somewhere to live.
