Perhaps it would never have happened if the college not been named Imhotep, but there it was, Imhotep College, after the Egyptian god of knowledge in a small New England town. Except for a department in Egyptology, this college carried a pretty complete curriculum from accounting basics to writing, so why did it happen there? That man, driving a 1969 station wagon into a driveway - that's where our story begins...
