The building of the west was a big job. It took big men to conquer the vast savage country and to carve a way through it and build rail roads through mountains of solid rock. 

It took bigger men to carry the stars of the law and blaze the trail of justice. The most famous of these were United States marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his gigantic deputy Jingles.
