The building of the west was a big job. It took big men to conquer the vast savage country and to carve a way through it and build rail roads through mountains of solid rock. 

It took bigger men to carry the stars of the law and blaze the trail of justice. The most famous of these were United States marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his gigantic deputy Jingles. Once the clang of steel and the whine of bullets sounded high adventure and the future of the rail road  waited on flashes of a message from the sun,
