A constant police menace, which the police find difficult to combat, is the operations of those confident men and bunko artists. The world is full of conmen and slickers, and unfortunately it is the less wary, gullible citizens who usually fall victim - and who more often than not, swallow their pride, take their loss and say nothing about it, because of the fear of ridicule.
