Lux presents Maisie Is A Lady a comedy featuring the same stars who made the Metro Goldwyn Meyer picture Ann Southern as Maisie, Lew Ayres and Maureen O’Sullivan. Maisie herself is a chorus girl but a bit more versatile. In the beginning of this play for instance she has a temporary connection with the circus where she gives a stirling performance as the headless woman. It’s an odd way to begin an adventure with the upper crust of society but that’s Maisie for you!
