This is the case of the Masquerading Gunmen who staged the largest bank robbery in Oregon history but who found that when the masks were down the prize for the best performance went to the man in police uniform.

The pioneer festival in Oakland gave the perfect cover for Henry Pops Tollands and Sam Scribner to disguise themselves in costumes and beards as they robbed the bank.
